Make-up free

Friday, June 29th, 2012

Last weekend Holly Willoughby tweeted a picture of herself without a scrap of make-up – and looked gorgeous. She sparked a debate that has divided women into those who would leave the house without make-up and those who would most certainly not.

While wearing make-up seems to be the norm for most women we wonder how far you’d go? Have you done something extreme in the name of beauty? Perhaps you remortgaged the house to pay for treatments? Or didn’t get married because you didn’t think you looked right?

If this is you or someone you know, get in touch!

In times of trouble

Friday, June 22nd, 2012

We think Jack Osbourne has handled his recent MS diagnosis with great dignity. He has asked those who have sensationalised his condition not to treat him like he’s dying and was furious when jobs were cancelled because producers didn’t think he’d be up for it.

With Jack sharing his feelings on his mother’s TV show and his big sister Kelly tweeting pictures of them having a cuddle it’s obvious it’s brought the family closer together.

If you or someone you know is going through or has been through a tough time and came out stronger then we’d love to hear from you. Perhaps you met your partner in hospital? Or maybe it gave you the strength to end an unhappy marriage?

Please get in touch with your story, we’d love to hear from you.

The right to choose?

Thursday, June 21st, 2012

It seems everyone has an opinion at the moment on whether anorexia sufferers should be force fed against their will. What do you think? Should we force food in them to keep them alive or allow them to continue starving themselves if that’s what they wish?

If you’re an anorexia suffer who has had to be force fed we’d love to hear from you. Are you glad the decision was taken out of your hands? Or perhaps you still think you should have been able to make that choice for yourself?

Or maybe you are a parent and had to make that decision yourself. Do you think it’s a parent’s right to force their child to feed to save their life or do you think they should be allowed to decide for themselves?

Whatever your opinion we’d love to hear from you.

OCD

Wednesday, June 20th, 2012

With Kim Kardashian admitting to her OCD this week we’re looking to speak to more sufferers to help raise awareness. More and more celebrities are speaking out about their obsessive disorders ranging from tidying, ordering and cleaning. If you have OCD then we’d love to hear from you too.

If you would like to find out more about what we’re looking for please check out our Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/National-Story-Seller/214664165223007

What we’re looking for…

Tuesday, June 19th, 2012

We always have magazines and newspapers asking us for case studies for stories they’re working on and they pay big money for those who take part. We already post them on our Facebook page (which can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/National-Story-Seller/214664165223007) but as of now you can find what we’re looking for here too.

If you don’t match what we’re looking for but you know someone who does, we’d still like to hear from you. If you put us in touch with a friend whose story gets published we’ll pay you a £50 finders fee!

So, at the moment we’re looking for good relationship stories. Have you married the same man twice? Did your marriage survive an affair? Did you become friends with your husband’s mistress?

We’re also looking to talk to men who used steroids as a teenager or a mum whose son used them.

If you think you’re what we’re looking for get in touch – and as always, we’d love to hear from you whatever your story may be!

Flaming June?

Monday, June 11th, 2012

What a wash out June’s turning out to be! With a month’s worth of rain set to fall over the next 24 hours it doesn’t look like we’ll see the sun for a while.

Have you been hit by flooding? Was your wedding ruined by the rain? Perhaps you don’t see hat all the fuss is about?

Let us know what you think!

The Voice

Friday, June 1st, 2012

So the final of The Voice is upon us this weekend. What do you think – a new and exciting format or has it turned into the x-factor now? Are the judges enough to make it different? Is it still only about the voice? Will you be watching next year?

Let us know what you think to join the debate!
